Liverpool Social Cleansing
Video

'A drive through the proposed edge lane
development after the mass social cleansing has taken place. The video was made
by the Liverpool Land (grab) Development Company and has been re-edited by
Scouse Times because it was untruthful' |

I live in Portland Oregon and do understand the meaningless developments of
buildings and such. Where there was land and some tall grass is a huge condo or
sub divisions of a big brick building leasing for business. So far it is as
vacant as the tall grass field that was there at one time. Nonsense. That is
my say and have an amazing day. Peace to you all in Liverpool. |

They made the same mistakes in the sixties and
seventies, bulldozing old communities in favour of new development and look what
happened to most of them, it all looks dazzling now but how will it turn out in
the long run. What the developers don't seem to realise is that you cannot have
a major development without some sense of community. Not against improvements,
but they could have redeveloped the area that was sensitive to the needs of
local people, like the real Scousers that make Liverpool special. From the
video one can see most of it seems to be composed of vast car parks, not exactly
green or environmentally friendly.? Ex Scouser |
