| Open Office is a suite of programs that has a
word processor, spreadsheet, database and presentation units, with a
couple of added utilities included. It is much like Microsoft Office
without all the frills and is very able in it's job as a piece of
software. Many big organisations such as government and companies
are using this software to show this it is viable and useful. It is
available for different platforms such as Windows, Linux, Solaris, Mac
and in many different languages. Although similar to Microsoft Office
and other expensive applications of a similar nature it is absolutely
free. |
