Gunther's MG MGB Sports Car

MGB at the top of "Stallersattel"

Hi there ! I googled your HP and spent quite a lot of time on it and now I really would like to have my MGB shown on your site. My MGB is a 1969 US model. I bought it about 3 yeas ago from a vintage- fan who did not have the time to drive the mgb as he owns an old Mercedes Benz too. I am driving the car nearly every day except in winter and I love to hit the long road with my MGB. In May 2007 we drove from Salzburg (Austria, this is where I live) to Lake Caldaro in South Tyrol (Italy). The first picture was taken at the top of "Stallersattel" which is a mountain pass from Austria to Italy. This mountain pass leads up to an altitude of about 2000 meters and as you can see we had some fresh snow up there.

The second picture shows my MGB in front of our hotel at Lake Caldaro.

The third picture shows the MG at the bottom of "Stallersattel" on the Italian side. At this point we had already crested two other mountain passes and were now waiting to go the third time at an altitude of over 2000 meters and then heading home to Salzburg. I thought instead of telling you too much details of the car I simply give you a short impression of my this journey.
