We saw this magnificent sailing ship
at the Tall Ships in the Wellington Dock in July 2008 as part of the
Liverpool Capital of Culture celebrations. Under the canopy on the
deck there where drums playing to a rhythmic beat that made for a
great carnival atmosphere. The Christian Radich, a class 'A' ship,
is named after a Norwegian ship-owner who left his money to build a
ship to train young people in the art of sail and was built in 1937.
If you have ever been involved with this ship let us know in the
comment box below, your experiences would be much appreciated.
