PLANET Steam Train Locomotive

This video is one I took at the Manchester Museum of Science and Industry showing the steam train PLANET. The PLANET was designed by Robert Stephenson and made in 1830. The train itself is not the original but what looks like an exceeding good replica. Nearby and on the same track is Liverpool Road Station, the oldest surviving railway station in the world, also 1830. So there is lots and lots of history here that kick started the industrial revolution.
